This year I finally celebrated the big "1-8". Although, this isn't much of a fashion post I wanted to share it with you guys anyways just in case you guys might need some inspiration. So one of things I wanted for the party I had was a "photo book" just so my guests can write their messages to me and I can bind it into one space. I wanted the book to be more customized so I decided to have different photo shoots that captivates my personality. These shoots might seem childish but to me it represents my playful side, that even though I'm now considered an "adult" I'm still a child at heart. The set for this shoot was put together in a matter of minutes. The dollar store is you best friend to be perfectly honest; you can buy different props and everything else you might need. If you guys have ever done something like this, let me know !

Spring is finally back, and guess what ?! So are we ! I know we haven't blogged in the longest time but that's because we've been extremely busy; Jo's last semester of college, and my last year of high school. Although, this fashion blog has been a huge part of my senior year, I'm trying to connect more to the outside world. Anyways, these pictures were actually taken for my 18th birthday photo book. I thought I'd share them with you since they resemble the feelings of Springs. I took more pictures for my 18th birthday, so I'll blog those in a few days. Thank you for still checking out our blog even though we rarely blog.

I think we're all sometimes a tad bit afraid of doing print on print, but for this outfit I took that risk. To make it work for me, I made sure both prints weren't dominant. For the skirt, the print was quite subtle compared to my top since it blended with the color. I also made sure the "grids" on my top was bigger compared to the print on my skirt so it wouldn't clash. I think matching prints can be quite fun, don't ever let anyone tell you "you're not supposed to wear matching prints" because to be honest that's a fashion rule that's meant to be broken so you can express more of your creativity.

I think this is my favorite photo shoot so far. Arkay Mendoza did a great job with these photos and making everything look natural. Her photography skills definitely complimented my outfit. This outfit is earthy and gypsy inspired. You'll notice that my whole outfit is pretty much just one color in different shades. Brown is one of my favorite colors because it's simple but stands out. My brown long skirt is from Forever21 and one of my favorite piece in my closet. To match my skirt, I wore a simple crossed patterned blouse. The color of the blouse matched with my skirt without it blending in. This gypsy inspired outfit gave me a reason to wear a lot of accesories without the accesories overwhelming the outfit. Bangles, bracelets, rings, and big earrings go well with outfits that are simple and earthy. The accessories, simple makeup, and messy waves complete the outfit.

Meet Steph Ivy!!!
Steph's outfit is perfect for this Vegas weather. The heat is really getting to a lot of people, and sometimes you look in your closet and you don't know what to wear. Well if you have a romper, then you're set! This outfit is great for a casual get together with friends, but it can also pass as an outfit that you can wear to a play. Adding classy looking accessories would make this more dressy than casual. Oh and the shoooeesss!!! The shoes will definitely make it look more casual or dressy.
