Hi guys, happy 2015 ! It's finally the start of a new year. To start off the new year, Jo & I have been trying to see each other more so we can do more shoots. It's very hard for us to meet each other often because we both go to different colleges and we also have work. Anyways, about the outfit... for some reason I've been really into plaid bottoms. I think plaid bottoms gives your outfit more of a feminine look because it reminds us of that school girl look. When it's the winter season, I really like to throw on my sheer tights. I think tights are an essential piece because you can definite have many looks to match it with. Oh, and coats is one of the trending pieces for this season so make sure you guys grab one that can match most of your outfits. Spring is finally back, and guess what ?! So are we ! I know we haven't blogged in the longest time but that's because we've been extremely busy; Jo's last semester of college, and my last year of high school. Although, this fashion blog has been a huge part of my senior year, I'm trying to connect more to the outside world. Anyways, these pictures were actually taken for my 18th birthday photo book. I thought I'd share them with you since they resemble the feelings of Springs. I took more pictures for my 18th birthday, so I'll blog those in a few days. I think this is my favorite photo shoot so far. Arkay Mendoza did a great job with these photos and making everything look natural. Her photography skills definitely complimented my outfit. This outfit is earthy and gypsy inspired. You'll notice that my whole outfit is pretty much just one color in different shades. Brown is one of my favorite colors because it's simple but stands out. My brown long skirt is from Forever21 and one of my favorite piece in my closet. To match my skirt, I wore a simple crossed patterned blouse. The color of the blouse matched with my skirt without it blending in. This gypsy inspired outfit gave me a reason to wear a lot of accesories without the accesories overwhelming the outfit. Bangles, bracelets, rings, and big earrings go well with outfits that are simple and earthy. The accessories, simple makeup, and messy waves complete the outfit.

I think the trend of black and white has made my heart its asylum. As much as I dread wearing black during the summer, especially because I live in Vegas,  I just can't help but match most of white pieces with black. Anyways, without a doubt this is a full on casual outfit. It was first time to try pick an outfit for platform shoes. Personally I hated this trend, but I decided to give it a try anyways with just buying an inexpensive pair and I surprisingly like them. I mean they're actually comfortable and it wouldn't hurt to add some height, right ?

Meet Steph Ivy!!!
Steph's outfit is perfect for this Vegas weather. The heat is really getting to a lot of people, and sometimes you look in your closet and you don't know what to wear. Well if you have a romper, then you're set! This outfit is great for a casual get together with friends, but it can also pass as an outfit that you can wear to a play. Adding classy looking accessories would make this more dressy than casual. Oh and the shoooeesss!!! The shoes will definitely make it look more casual or dressy.

This outfit consists of baggy pants, skull printed muscle tee and sneaker wedges. If you're familiar with the Korean boy band "Big Bang", you can find similarities between my choice of outfit and their fashion sense. If you weren't aware, we have been fans of Big Bang for the longest time and we decided to replicate their style. The baggy pants is Taeyang inspired, the skull is a perfect copy of their 4th mini album cover, Tonight. Our original plan was to shoot at the same location as their Tonight music video, unfortunately we couldn't find it because of the large crowd and finding a parking spot on Freemont street is a whole different story. So, if all else fails shoot at Water Street !
